At Oakleaf we’re constantly working to source the finest produce we can find. To ensure the highest quality for our customers, we’re delighted to introduce our new, free range chicken, developed in conjunction with Edward Wilkinson and farmed exclusively in Yorkshire.
Our chickens are farmed the traditional way. Free range, they’re able to roam acres of open Yorkshire fields and are given time to grow slowly. To make them extra special, they’re fed a diet of over 10 fresh herbs including coriander, mint and oregano, along with a handful of oats to help fatten and flavour the skin.
This diet, along with the slow, free range farming, helps to enrich the natural taste of the meat and produces a bird with a truly exceptional depth of flavour.
